ZEUS® keyless: digital access systems for organisations

ZEUS® keyless opens up new possibilities in the management of digital locking systems. Digital locking cylinders and door handles can be centrally controlled, flexibly adapted and precisely aligned with your organisational structure. This creates a solution that meets current requirements while reliably accommodating future developments.

All components are used with a unified badge or transponder, which is also used at ISGUS Time and Attendance terminals and access readers. In this way, the locking technology is fully integrated into the existing ZEUS® system environment, enabling seamless processes without system breaks.

Access rights can be validated in three different ways: via wireless networking using an access point, directly at a time recording terminal of type IT 8210, or via online access readers in combination with a security badge or transponder. All time bookings and access events are automatically recorded and kept up to date across the entire system, based on the Access-on-Card principle.

Keyless access for modern work environments

ZEUS® keyless replaces traditional locking systems with fully digital access processes. Employees, visitors and external partners gain access via modern identification solutions such as smartphones or digital badges. This removes dependence on physical keys while increasing transparency across all access events.

In the context of hybrid working models, flexible working hours and rising security requirements, such solutions are becoming increasingly important. Organisations benefit from an infrastructure that adapts dynamically to changing conditions while maintaining full control over all access points at all times.

Digital access processes ensure clear, traceable workflows and significantly reduce administrative effort. At the same time, existing technologies such as transponders or cards remain fully usable. Organisations can shape the transition individually and benefit from maximum flexibility in digitising their access management.

Mobile Access as the foundation of modern security

At the core of ZEUS® keyless are digital identities that are uniquely assigned to individuals. Access rights are managed centrally, adjusted in real time and can be precisely aligned with roles, areas or time windows.

This structure enables highly precise yet flexible control of all access permissions. The advantages of this approach become particularly evident in day-to-day operations when dealing with short-term changes, project-based assignments or external service providers. Access can be granted or revoked immediately, without delay and without additional on-site effort.

By using modern security mechanisms such as encrypted communication, secure authentication and device binding, ZEUS® keyless meets current data protection and IT security requirements. Organisations establish a robust foundation for compliance, reduce risks and simultaneously increase operational security.

Administrative relief through digital security processes

With ZEUS® keyless, the effort required for traditional key management is significantly reduced. Processes such as issuance, documentation, return or replacement are largely eliminated and replaced by digital workflows.

All access events are automatically recorded, stored in an audit-proof manner and are available at any time for analysis. This facilitates internal audits, supports compliance processes and helps organisations reliably meet regulatory requirements.

In organisations with multiple locations, high workforce turnover or complex structures, this transparency leads to a noticeable reduction in administrative workload. At the same time, a clear overview of all permissions is created, reducing errors and accelerating processes.

Integrated solution for your entire system landscape

ZEUS® keyless is seamlessly integrated into the ZEUS® platform and can be connected with applications in the areas of Access Control, Time and Attendance and HR Management. This creates a central solution that links all relevant processes.

The unified data foundation ensures consistent information across all systems. Duplicate data maintenance is eliminated and processes are significantly streamlined. Changes to permissions or master data take effect immediately across the entire system.

Organisations benefit from centralised management that integrates both security-related and organisational processes. This improves the basis for decision-making and creates a stable foundation for further growth and digitalisation.

Modularity

ZEUS® keyless can be combined and extended at any time with additional solutions:

This modular structure creates an integrated system landscape in which all processes interact and are centrally controlled. Access, Time and Attendance, Staff Scheduling and security monitoring work together seamlessly to ensure end-to-end processes.

The ZEUS® Security Monitor provides additional real-time transparency across all security-relevant events and supports rapid response to anomalies. At the same time, VISIT Visitor Management enables professional and controlled handling of external individuals within the organisation.

Organisations benefit from high transparency, more efficient processes and a consistent data foundation across all areas. The solution adapts flexibly to your requirements and evolves with your organisation.

Security concepts for today’s and tomorrow’s workplace

Security and organisational requirements continue to evolve. Mobile working, flexible deployment models and distributed teams require solutions that can be adapted quickly while still meeting the highest security standards.

ZEUS® keyless supports this development with a fully digital approach. Access is controlled through clearly defined identities rather than physical keys. This creates a system that remains scalable, transparent and controllable at all times.

Organisations benefit from enhanced security, improved traceability and a significant reduction of everyday risks. At the same time, the necessary flexibility is created to accommodate future requirements without difficulty.

FAQ about ZEUS® keyless and digital locking technology:

Access rights are assigned centrally within the system and tailored individually to people, roles or time periods. In addition, permissions can also be defined by area or location. Changes are applied in real time and take effect immediately. This enables organisations to respond quickly to structural or operational changes, such as new employees, internal role changes or external service providers. This ensures that only authorised individuals have access at any given time.

ZEUS® keyless utilises modern security mechanisms such as encrypted data transmission and secure authentication procedures. Access rights are clearly defined and can be checked and adjusted at any time. All access events are documented and can be traced. In addition, the system reduces the typical risks associated with mechanical locking systems, such as those arising from lost or unauthorised copies of keys.

All access events are documented in an audit-proof manner and can be traced at any time. This supports organisations during audits and in complying with internal policies. Centralised management ensures that only authorised individuals are granted access to specific areas. At the same time, it facilitates compliance with the requirements of the GDPR, as access is transparent and controllable.

Companies reduce the costs associated with key management and avoid time-consuming replacement procedures in the event of loss. At the same time, the administrative burden is significantly reduced. Centralised management makes processes more efficient, reduces errors and simplifies coordination. This saves time and provides a better overview of all access rights.

ZEUS® keyless enables flexible management of access rights, which can be easily adapted to hybrid working models and changing teams. Access can be granted or adjusted at short notice, for example for project staff or external partners. This allows companies to remain flexible whilst retaining full control over all access.
