The IT 8270 presents itself in a timelessly elegant design and your CI on the start page in your foyer or as an employee self-service terminal in social rooms and in your canteen. Employees can call up their bookings, time accounts, remaining vacation time, their shift plan and the messages they have received there at any time. The menu navigation can be set to be barrier-free, so that visually impaired people are not disadvantaged.
As on any workstation computer, workflow requests for forgotten bookings, holiday planning, absences and business trips can also be made on the IT 8270. Managers with the appropriate authorization can also approve requests from their team directly on the IT 8270. Equipped with a 3mm thick touchscreen surface and a robust metal housing, the terminal is predestined for production data acquisition in harsh production environments.
A large keyboard and easy-to-use functional elements make the IT 8270 the ideal recording device, on which the employees in production can select upcoming orders or read them in using a bar or QR code scanner, start orders, report them as finished and report quantities. The plausibility check directly during data entry prevents input errors and subsequent corrections.
The IT 8270 can also be equipped for Access-on-Card. This means that access authorizations for digital locking cylinders and smart handles are validated or updated on the transponders of the employees each time a time is booked at the terminal.
