ZEUS® Access Control in Tokyo

ISGUS once again is the chosen partner of the German House during the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. Following on from 1964, Tokyo will host the Olympic Games for the second time. Competitors for the Olympic Games 2020 were Istanbul and Madrid. The members of the IOC decided on the 7 September 2013 in Buenos Aires that Tokyo will be the venue for the 2020 Olympic Games which will take place from 24 July until 9 August 2020.

Since 1988 the German House is the “living room of the athletes” and an exclusive meeting place for the press, television and numerous international guests and visitors. Their safety is paramount and therefore a very relevant aspect for the organizers. The Visitors do not just want to move safely within the great atmosphere of the world of sports but also freely and informally. ISGUS and the ISGUS sales centre South West, IVS Zeit + Sicherheit GmbH ensure a smooth entry to the German House. The Olympic Games in Tokyo are postponed until 2021 due to the Corona pandemic.

Using the web-based IVS software for accreditation, guests and visitors can register months in advance via the Internet. This solution is used to prepare a visitor card with the appropriate access rights for the selected appointment allowing guests enter the German House without waiting.

Also, ISGUS and IVS will celebrate a special anniversary in Tokyo in 2020. In 2010 in Vancouver, ISGUS and IVS were partners of the German Sportmarketing GmbH for the first time, and have since then accompanied the German House at both Summer and Winter Games and also the Paralympics with unbroken continuity.

The security resulting from the combination of accreditation and access control is a guarantee for the organiser, who for many years has known that safety is in secure hands with ISGUS.
